Dr. Ashish Ahuja ,  completed his basic medical education from Somaiya Medical college, Mumbai,  and postgraduate training in ophthalmology from Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli , followed by a two year Vitreo-retinal fellowship from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai.

His strength is innovation and low cost devices to be incorporated in diagnostics in ophthalmology. Amongst his various scientific contributions to peer reviewed ophthalmic literature, few notable achievements are an original description as- Novel technique of Smartphone-based high magnification imaging of the eyelid lesions, Change in trends of imaging the retina, Smartphone Based Monochromatic green filter imaging of the fundus. Owing to experience in teaching, he has been chosen Advisor to AiSeon Healthcare technology – Healthcare start up providing Artificial Intelligence Platform for diabetic retinopathy screening .

 

He is involved as a reviewer for IJO in innovation segment. He has published more than 15 papers in various national and international journals. He is currently associated with Sadhu Kamal Eye Hospital,   and RNC Eye Hospital , Valsad, Gujrat.
